KMT Realigns Structure
STOCKHOLM – Karolin Machine Tool AB (KMT), the parent company of KMT Waterjet Systems, announced a revamped organizational structure in early December, due to the company’s recent acquisitions of RPT and H2O Jet and the new joint-venture KMT Spindle Technology.
The new organization includes four business areas, as well as a new management structure.
The KMT Waterjet area includes Baxter Springs, Kan.-based KMT Waterjet Systems, along with KMT Aqua-Dyne of Houston, KMT H20 in Olympia, Wash, and KMT McCartney in Baxter Springs.
Other business areas are KMT Precision Grinding, KMT Robotic Systems and KMT Sheet Metal Working.
Lars Bergström is the new KMT CEO, with Joakim Roslund as CFO and Per-Olof Jungqvist as technical director. Duane Johnson will serve as president of KMT Waterjet.
