Comandulli, Fratelli Bisso Merge
CASTELLEONE, Italy – Comandulli Costruzione Meccaniche S.r.l., a leading constructor of edge polishing machines, merged with milling-machine manufactuer Fratelli Bisso S.r.l of Ferrada di Moconesi, Italy, in December.
Comandulli acquired a majority-shareholder interest in Fratelli Bisso in 1998. The move came as Comandulli celebrated its 35th anniversary in the stone-machinery business.
On Dec. 5, Comandulli owner Ernesto Comandulli received a parchment and a commemorative gold medal for the company’s anniversary. The ceremony took place on the company’s premises in the presence of representatives of Comandulli personnel and Comandulli’s daughters Mara and Cinzia.
Comandulli also received a publication outlining the evolution of the company during the 35 years of activity.
The anniversary ceremony also cited the building of a new 6,000 m²/64,500 ft² industrial plant for Comandulli , enlarging the company’s assembling department and warehouse capacity.
