The largest and most intriguing feature of the lobby is the Noir St. Laurent marble feature wall, standing 18’ X 24’ with panels measuring roughly 9’ long X 4’ wide and fabricated/installed in a diamond book-match pattern with 1/16" joints.
Located directly in front of the feature wall is an elliptical staircase of Corinthian Beige marble. Each cubic stair tread is individually supported; due to the design of the geometry, each tread is a separate piece size and configuration. The landing is also one solid 4”-thick panel measuring roughly 8’ X 6’. At the bottom of the elliptical stairs sits a raised plinth, constructed of Noir St. Laurent, that carries the same radii as the elliptical staircase.
The project’s 4,500 ft² of Corinthian Beige marble also includes the paving within the lobby, and at the reception desk.
