M S International Moves, Expands

ORANGE, Calif. – It took almost a year, but M S International Inc. (MSI) now operates from a new—and larger – headquarters.
The national natural-stone distributor completed its move to its new offices and primary distribution center in Orange in late October. Previously, the company operated out of five separate buildings/locations in nearly Anaheim.
The new location features a 10,000 ft² wholesale natural-stone gallery. The showroom contains more than 300 varieties of granite, marble, slate, travertine, limestone, sandstone and quartzite, as well as training and sales facilities.
“The new showroom benefits our customers by enabling them to view the full range of natural-stone products available in the market,” says Manu Shah, MSI president. “From one single location, a customer can make purchasing decisions for more than 1000 items of natural stone imported from 25 countries and receive the material right away from our inventory.”
The facility’s distribution center, covering 13 acres, features 170,000 ft² of warehouse space and 200,000 ft² of outdoor storage. MSI maintains an inventory of more than 800 truckloads of material at the Orange site.
“During our transition over the last few months, it has been quite challenging from a logistics perspective,” Shah adds, “but we are now positioned to provide the highest level of service to our customers for several years to come.”
MSI maintains more than 20 million ft²of natural-stone inventory with its distribution centers in Orange, Atlanta, Dallas, Chicago and Edison, N.J. The company also operates sales offices in Boston and Phoenix; the Phoenix location opened in September.
