NTC Opens West Coast Facility
ASHEVILLE, N.C. – The National Training Center for Stone and Masonry Trades (NTC) will go coast-to-coast next year with a location in northern California.
The new training center, located at StoneCrafters Outlet in Gilroy, Calif., will be a state-of-the-art stone-fabrication facility, says NTC Director Fred Hueston. The West Coast operation will be in addition to NTC’s current base in Asheville.
“We are excited about opening on the West Coast,” Hueston notes. “This will allow those who could not attend our seminars, due to increasing travel costs, to participate in our popular stone-fabrication seminars.”
He adds that the new location “will allow students to observe the latest in stone-fabrication technology from basic stone fabrication through advanced technologies such as CNC, waterjet and laser etching.”
The first seminars at the Gilroy facility should begin next spring.
