Tucker Entries Due in September

ITASCA, Ill. – It’s time again for the biennial Tucker Design Awards from the Building Stone Institute … and the entry deadline is coming soon.
Architects, landscape architects, interior designers and other members of the design/build community using natural stone are eligible for Tucker awards. Established in 1977, the Tucker Design Awards are presented to honor excellence in the concept and design of projects utilizing natural stone.
Projects that should be considered include residential, commercial, and institutional structures; landscapes; interiors and restorations; memorials, landscape elements and fountains are also encouraged.
Detailed entry guidelines and a submission binder will be mailed to each entrant upon receipt of a completed “Call for Entries” form. The deadline to receive the complete entry form with the associated fee is Sept. 30; completed submission binders are due on Nov. 11.
Presentation of the Tucker awards will take place next May in San Francisco.
