Industrial Diamond Meet Set
MIDDLESEX, U.K. – The First International Industrial Diamond Conference will be held at the Fira Palace Hotel in Barcelona, Spain, on Oct. 20-21.
In addition to the latest abrasive applications, new technologies and recent research developments, the conference will enthusiastically also examine non-abrasive applications, with dedicated sessions on diamond electronics, detectors and application of CVD diamond.
A large number of papers will be presented over the two days, which – together with the educational session on Oct. 19 – will provide a comprehensive overview on the state of the art in superabrasives and future applications of diamond and cubic boron nitride materials.
While the 11 planned sessions on Oct. 20-21 will aim to cover as many topics as possible, the format of this conference will be as broad as possible to act as an open forum. Keynote speeches and presentations will make up the main components, but open-forum discussions on both conference days will provide further interaction and address issues that are important to the industry itself.
